How to get to Bangkok:
By plane
Bangkok is well connected by air to the rest of the world and there are two airports in the city. The Suvarnabhumi Airport is located 25 kilometres east of Bangkok and the Don Mueang Airport located 24 kilometres to the north. Most international and domestic airlines operate at the Suvarnabhumi Airport, which is linked to the city by buses, taxis, and Airport Rail Link, a high-speed train service into downtown Bangkok

There are three different options to travel the 31.5 km distance between Suvarnabhumi (BKK) Airport and Bangkok’s city centre; you can either take a taxi, a bus or a train.
– Taking a Bangkok airport taxi is the most convenient option as it offers a 24/7 door-to-door service. The cost is around $7.6 (฿250) with the extra pay for toll road costing $2.3 (฿75) and taxi airport cost of $1.5 (฿50).
– Your second option is to take the Airport Rail Link City Line Train for a cheap and easy transfer to downtown Bangkok. The cost to Phayathai station is $1.4 (฿45). You can take the Taxi from Phayathai to Montien hotel or BTS Skytrain to Saladang station.
– Your final option is to take the airport Limobus express which will take you to Silom road. From Silom road to the Montien Surawong hotel, it is the walking distance.
